Scarlet cup of sin
Lie down with me, dark lover
in the solitude of falling dusk
wind your long arms around my body be the velvet night and shield my eyes
From the morning’s first light
I shall rise and leave you
entwined between cold silks;
you shall warm them with your bare skin
Against my ringed fingers curling round
the scarlet cup of sin
brimful with delight and I sip;
a rose blooms in my mouth.
You were my entire world last night
but now it is morning.
